Vancouver Canucks foe, Carey Price
Montreal Canadiens goaltender Carey Price could see the Vancouver Canucks on November 29th.

Vancouver Canucks Rookie Camp begins today (Friday) at Rogers Arena and we’ll have coverage ongoing. No news on the contract front, so …

Let’s Skate! …

Quite the surprise after the rookies left the ice in Montreal Thursday. It is believed to be the first time Carey Price had been on skates since having arthroscopic surgery to repair a torn meniscus in his knee on July 22, according to the Montreal Gazette.

By the way, the NHL just announced that Montreal will host the NHL Draft next summer at the Bell Centre on July 7th and 8th.

Boston Hockey Now has been following up on trade rumours involving Jack Eichel out of Buffalo and PK Subban out of New Jersey, with Vegas and Los Angeles the apparent favourites on the previous and Toronto a team that’s popped up for the latter.

George Richards at Florida Hockey Now is having a link festival of his own this morning, including the conversation Evander Kane had with ESPN about gambling accusations and the latest on the rookie tournament involving the Panthers, the Tampa Bay Lightning, Nashville Predators and Carolina Hurricanes. Won’t it be nice next year when the Vancouver Canucks throw their rookie tournament party again, preferably back in Penticton.
