Canucks Daily: Wrestling Crowd Chants for Bruce; Anti-trade Rumours
Canucks Head Coach Bruce Boudreau loves pro wrestling and pro wrestling loves him back. One of his favourite wrestlers, if not his current favourite, Kevin Owen gave ‘Gabby’ a huge shout out last night at Pacific Coliseum at a WWE event. There were a few video recordings of the moment floating around but this one captures it.
Pretty sure this is the first time a โBruce, there it is!โ chant has broken out at a @WWE event.
Thanks @FightOwensFight for showing Bruce Boudreau and the @Canucks some love tonight! @WWEVancouver pic.twitter.com/VreYphcZsr

I know Boudreau has mentioned, when the schedule allows, he’d love to check out the fast growing NEW, Nation Extreme Wrestling, that’s been rocking Vancouver over the last year.
Meanwhile, Boudreau and the NHL coaching staff will be behind the bench at Rogers Arena this afternoon as the Canucks host a Calgary Flames split squad. Another line-up of Vancouver players will head to the Saddledome in Calgary with Abbotsford Canucks head coach Jeremy Colliton and staff to play at the same time.
You’re going for a twirl before that …
